Dynamic Competition in Market Definition and Merger Review

Next week, I will participate in the Expert Forum I had the pleasure of co-organizing.

We invite you to a half-day event focused on trends and challenges in European competition and merger policy. The Forum will open with a luncheon and conclude with a reception for all guests and speakers. Two speaker panels of academic, industry, regulatory, and private practice experts will share insights on a range of topics, from the innovation-enhancing effects of mergers to the impact of market definition issues. Renowned expert added to program: We are pleased to announce that Aviv Nevo of the University of Pennsylvania will join the presentation featuring Guillaume Loriot of DG COMP. Professor Nevo, who recently returned to academia after two years as Director of the Bureau of Economics at the US Federal Trade Commission, will interview Mr Loriot about DG COMP priorities for 2025 and beyond.
